The family is the cornerstone of America. Have you noticed that more and more the media rather than the parents are guiding our children. For parents, who see that ethics and integrity issues are the key to a successful home, the take back the home project is definitely for you. We began this project because while raising 4 teenager we noticed America has fallen into an internet fast food fast food mentality where instant everything gratification has become the norm.

The American family is in crisis. We noticed that the more our teens played video games, the more they were on Youtube, the more they became less sociable, less pleasant, and their grades were slipping. We saw their communication skills decreased as they mistook meeting people online as real relationships. They literally were becoming addicted to a value system that just didn’t reflect us. We love our kids but we were losing a battle to immorality.

We realized we had to take a stand. We were shocked how far we had allowed our own children to drift from us and how far they had drifted from the kind of values and integrity we thought we were teaching. Don’t get me wrong. We love these kids and we expected them all to go to college but we just found that the bar was set too low in our home. Being bright intuitive parents we felt that if we were experiencing this phenomena, most parents, whether they realized it or not were too. We began to feel this, in our opinion, is a problem of epidemic proportions.

We figured out what works. We sat down with the children and told them the new rules of the house. We implemented them. We battled, literally. We, the parents, became the leaders. They became the followers. We literally took back the home.

We have become the family I always wanted. Its not perfect, but it works and we can teach you how to get it too.
